Any time someone starts their text with those and other phrases of this sort, a wall of oversocialized clichés inevitably follows. Any literature on why is that so?

It's pretty easy to imagine a connection between clichéd expression and clichéd thought, someone lacking the faculties to fully consider a political issue will also fail to express himself in an original way

Try semiotics. What you're interpreting as a verbal-semantic message can instead be interpreted as an impression generated from signs and acting. Rather than each phrase conveying an idea, the communique as a whole is intended to convey an impression. In the case of your Redditor, it's that he is smugly superior intellectually. It's the verbal equivalent of a smirk.

Much of normalfag socialising consists of similarly empty signs. Most of their phrases are not meant to be taken literally. They have adopted the phrases for their impressionistic qualities only. For example, "we should hang out soon" is almost never an invitation to make plans. It's just a friendly way of terminating a reunion.

I saw a normie meme the other day. It went:
>Take care of your 1998 friends. They're turning 23 soon, and no one likes you when you're 23.
Can someone explain what it means? Does it mean anything? It seems literally content-less. I'm not sure what is meant to be funny. It had hundreds maybe thousands of likes and comments.
