How do you prefer to read /lit/? Do you prefer to continuously read a book till you finish it or do you fellas prefer cutting off your reading to multiple sessions?

Anyway I read until exhaustion, and very surprised people even read in set intervals or whatever

Depends on the book. I read dense shit so i'll give myself 20 pages a day of something dense, 3-4 short poems from whatever poetry collection i got on the go, reread when i need to, then i'll take some time to do 2-3 short stories a couple days

I only ever read a book in one sitting, without question. Whatever it is will be read without me so much as lifting my ass out of my chair. In some cases, this has been quite painful. I read all 2500 pages of Zibaldone in one 65 hour sitting. By the end I had lost 40 pounds, pissed on myself numerous times, and experienced total loss of feeling in my legs, ass, and feet which was did irreparable damage to my nervous system.

I'd love to read more novels in single sittings, but I always get tired after 2 or 3 hours and want to go outside for fresh air, reflection and some light bird watching.

I work 3pm-7am. I read 2 300 page books a night.

Depends on how long the book is and how its paced. If a book is engaging the whole way through then I'll probably read it in one sitting, but slower fantasy series like WoT which have hundreds of pages dedicated to boring character interactions and info dumping will take me multiple sittings, sometimes I space books like this out over weeks, reading maybe 100 pages every few days while I'm reading something more interesting.

Moving positions and getting up to walk around is a good idea too, you don't have to literally sit the entire time
