I’ve always consistently gotten INTJ, as for what book defines the INTJ well. Well I don’t think it’s really that good of a personality descriptor, very vague. You could put any book that focuses heavily on non-emotional philosophy like Husserl or Hegel, stuff with loners and outcasts who over think like notes from the underground or the like but ehh, you can really just say anything that’s intellectual and introversion heavy represents it. So that’s incredibly vague.

Yeah, this one is the best. It doesn't make you pick between dichotomies, instead of making you pick between feeling or thinking it makes you pick between fe and fi which is much better, because instead of having a bunch of women pick answers like "you would describe yourself as more logical," just because two years ago they weighed up the pros and cons between the two chads that wanted to fuck them, essentially you aren't presenting people with easily discernable dichotomies so they can act out their larp of being "logical" or introverted or whatever. So you actually pick your correct type. Still most people here will still get intp or intj so there is no point doing this test, but if you want to see what your family members or your gfs MBTI type are get them to do this test.

16personalities is trash. Because it treats each letter independently, it will always mislabel introverts.
The last letter (P/J) is meant to indicate your most dominant extroverted function, not your most dominant function (which for introverts, is introverted).
So if you get an IxxP result on 16personalities, you're actually an IxxJ, and vice versa.
It has broader ramifications. You can't just treat each letter independently like 16personalities does, because it doesn't take into account cognitive functions.
Take INTP and INTJ for example, which it might confuse you about. You'd think one letter wouldn't change much about the other 3, but it does, because neither share any functions.

In a very simplified description, ones degree of introversion is characterized by the intensity of the subjective factor in the conscious and as a result the suppression of the objective factor. And in reverse for the degree of extraversion an individuals consciousness is driven by. Most individuals are ofc closer to ambiversion.
