I don’t know about those two but Call of the Cradle is really good. Look up the description. it’s like Baby’s Day Out if it was horror.
The books seem to have built a cult following, due to the ads. Being that this board is filled with mostly unsuccessful writers, they’re seething at the attention these books are getting.

I read a couple of them. Call of the Crocodile is probably popular enough because of it's weird twist. Arcade is the overall better book because of it's lack of typos. I think that might be why they're memed so much. I haven't read Kappa or cherokee but I'll read one of those next.

It's hard to explain because it depends on how well you're following the story, up until it happens in the plot. It's not just one moment. The twist happened and I was confused for an entire chapter. Then it finally hit me and I was like "Ohhh...so that's what's really going on." One of those twists where it's not outright stated to the reader what it is. You need to pick up on it yourself. It happens really suddenly and there's a total shift in the plot. I don't know if that's a good answer but that's the shortest way I can describe it.
