Not really fair because catholics arent really inclined to write works of fiction.

>> No.17405633

For the Catholic column better (non-meme) choices would be Dante or Milton, though frankly I don't see why the works of fiction that a denomination produces are particularly significant

>> No.17405638

>>17405633
But you could really pick almost any religious fiction from the West between ~40AD and ~1500AD and file it under the Catholic column desu

>Milton
>Catholic

You're right though, Dante would be a good pick

Not even a Christcuck but your memery is banal. You don't really think the Pope is doing anything other than creating plausible deniability to win points with the libs do you?

Brothers Karamazov is significantly better than Paradise Lost which is significantly better than Divine Comedy.

I don't really know much about Catholicism but isn't there a thing whereby whatever the pope says goes? What if the pope says something totally against truch tradition, is his word considered law in the church? Theoretically if the pope said something blatantly satanic like "all children attending our church must now become transgender forcefully" then would that have to be followed or is there some special thing that says he can be ignored if he deviates from tradition?
