I disagree about Yeats being there, I dont think his skill as a playwright is that impressive, I think there's others who are greater. He is my favourite poet of all time though, soothes my soul.

Also I think Peter Handke deserves a spot in contemporary (or 20th century, idk where he should be I suck at plays lol, but I enjoyed some of his plays a lot)

I just finished The Piano Lesson. Very intriguing play. It is almost Brechtian in that it presents significant moral questions that it never even attempts to answer, as well as in the play's use of music.
