Nope. Going on regardless is the only act of defiance left that doesn't include jamming a bullet into my brain. That doesn't mean I forget the emotional baggage weighing it down with each step.

How have you not rejoiced in the fact that your life is your own to make what you want of it? You're perceiving the lack of guidance in your life to be futility when in all honesty, it just means that the Earth(and beyond) is a large sandbox for you to make what you want of it. There are some parameters such as the laws of physics but outside of those, your life is solely in your own hands.

Of course Nihilists will immediately jump upon this post to say that free will does not exist but the idea that you have very few constraints besides those that you abide by should help you overcome this feeling that you have unfortunately come upon.

Because society isn't based around a very strict criteria that includes employment, education, money, and intimate management of assets.

Let me guess, life is what you make of it and anything is possible because mommy and daddy paid for your schooling and gave you a good one-two on nepotism employment?

Honestly, I think you need this right about now because this is how I'm viewing you(being played by the actor in the white suit): http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=niP-uHBg-pU&feature=related

>Act like a man (within the same perimeters as those who don't).

I'm not saying to an extent life isn't what you make of it; you can be positive or negative, but ultimately you're still trapped in a myriad of things you have no control over, whether you whine about it or not.

Making music, reading books, creating art, hanging out with friends, having sex with loved ones, do some drugs, realizing I've got nothing to lose and otherwise enjoying the struggle (since without a negative side, there can be no positive).

Also, I'm reading Kundera at the moment, it's really helping me to cope with it all.

Yeah. Feels good, man.
I felt that kind of vacuum inside until I realized that I'm the most important thing on the whole fucking Universe and that all is an excuse for me to exist and do whatever I want.

I agree. Kundera made me feel happy too!

You can always put a blanket over that void we all have inside and pretend you're a superstitional religionisticist. It is very pleasant and opiating as well. Almost just as good as the real thing! Are benzopiates gODS?
