Plenty. I was completely entrenched in TradCath/Traditionalist thinking and made countless of posts on here and elsewhere, defending the position. My awakening occurred with the reading of Greek Mythology, particularly a course by the great classical scholar Elizabeth Vandiver who, in defining the word “mythology”, absolutely obliterated my belief in Abrahamism. Vandiver posits that “mythology” is a word which is highly dependent on context. The Greeks never regarded their mythos as “mythology”, they weren’t seen as bedtime stories as we regard them today. Only by standing outside the boundaries of that particular society can we view these stories as myth. Now imagine if you weren’t born in the west or in a western influenced society, and had to view the Abrahamist from the outside. The Abrahamist stories would be indistinguishable from the Greek in terms that they both would be viewed as nothing more than myths.

I then read Hegel, Heidegger and Nietzsche and it was pretty much sealed it. No one can take the path I have taken, understand what they have read, and still remain a Christian on the other side.

It was the thing that set the wheels in motion buddy. I could write an essay on this but I have no interest in demoralizing Christians or turning people away from their faith. All I can say is that I see no reason to believe in Jewish tales today. It amazes me how Abrahamism managed to replace the splendor that was Greek Mythology and that somehow people are okey or indifferent to this.

Recent development (last few years):
>right wing conservative, tried to accept religion on the basis on utility
>realize that utility is totally stupid to believe anything, slowly begin to move to the left
>realize that the right denies climate change solely because of oil billionaires, move further left
>pandemic starts, realize the right denies that too because they’re quite literally addicted to consumption, move even further left
>realize that much of economics is entirely subjective and little more than a useful illusion, realize that power is little else but guilt + violence, and that much of religion is based around this, move into anarchism
>realize that much of the ancient culture I’ve always admired, which was much of the reason why I became a conservative in the first place, is completely being eroded by a meaningless consumer culture that is literally eating the planet and everyone on it, realize that Adorno was mostly right
And that’s pretty much it right now

That argument is plainly retarded. Just because democracy "works" in developed countries doesn't mean is ideal or the only solution. There are many flaws in democracy and its design.
>And I love how retards like you constantly namedrop various species of animals into discussions about how to order society, when many of those species don’t cooperate or communicate in the wildly complex ways humans can, making any appeal to nature completely retarded
>Muh human argument.
What makes you think that because we communicate or cooperate hierarchies suddenly don't work? If anything it makes us more prone to hierarchies. Social animals with complex societies tend to be more hierarchy oriented. The fact we can communicate just makes us available to create more complex hierarchies and create more efficient ways to organize our society. Language helps us in fact to have produce better organization in groups. Now regarding cooperation hierarchies and cooperation aren't necessarily opposites.
