>communist flag wrapped around an object in relation to a highly lucrative franchise
Is there a better sign of how hard liberalism beat communism?

I would bet a fair sum this is from some faggot tenure track professor trying to make a name for themselves on Twitter among the exact same sorts of professors. Let's call them fully-renovated-kitchens-and-boxed-wine socialists. Nancy Meyers could make a movie about these posuers. Man, at least this type of fatuous Marxist of days past had the culture to be derided as Champagne socialists. These retards probably haven't ever seen white tie.

Yes, the irony, communism is nothing but a tool for capitalism.

Little alt-right troll is a dime a dozen round these parts, a clone, a bot, a perfectly forgettable walking talking cliche that disappears into the internet ether. A regurgitating pleb in short.

I disagree with the central thesis but there's some good discussion about the difference between greasy landed capital elite (like Trump) and socio-cultural capital elite (coastal liberals) and what drives frictions between them

the former derives their wealth rent on land and natural resources, and the latter from rent on information transfer or control of the legal system

>> No.17167810

Correct, among other things

>> No.17167949

>>17167810
Ironically, though Piketty writes about how inequality is far too high, it could, to a large degree, be reduced by reducing rents on information transfer that his class benefits from. Allow free trade in pharmaceuticals, allow IQ testing in lieu of a college degree for hiring, etc.

>communism flag that was probably mass manufactured by a company exploiting their labor force
>wrapped around a mass market product with no value beyond associating yourself with a commercial product made by a huge company
What is this phenomena where people are actually what they revolt against but never realize it? like how non-conformists end up conforming to a different set of standard also how does capitalism keep on winning? it's got to be brainwashing or conditioning or something

>> No.17168050

Modern "communism" is largely just a theory of niceness. Baby Yoda is nice and the Soviet flag is nice too.
