What do you think of this partially finished chart that /r9k/ put together?
Do you have any suggestions for it? If so, please only suggest a book for your own type.

The Myers Briggs personality archetypes are nonsense so I don't hold out much hope for the chart.

First of all there's a confusion about whether a book is "ABCD" because it's written by an author with an "ABCD" personality or because its targeted at a demographic who could be described as "ABCD"

>>17157798
So what's your theory on personality? Everyone is identical?
And its targeted towards the latter, though any books written by ABCD would obviously appeal to ABCDs.

is /r9k/ the retard containment board? I've never been there.

Not surprising that you're retarded. Have you never heard of any other personality theories besides Myers Briggs? read Jung, Adler, or Carl Rogers.

>though any books written by ABCD would obviously appeal to ABCDs

No it wouldn't. Self help books are a fantastic example of this. People who write self help books are not the type of people that read them.

>Everyone is identical?
Yes. Thats exactly what I said. Myers Briggs categories are bullshit therefore everyone is the same. That's precisely what I said.

I just took the online test for the first time yesterday. I'm 28. I got intj-a. I want to say it's pseudoscience bs on par with astrology but it does seem right. Is it fake or not? Did anyone read into it?

>> No.17158884

>>17158025
If you'd ever picked up a book by Jung you'd know he came up with the precursor to this idea. I like theories with categorization and predictive power, something neither Adler or Rogers can provide.

>>17158300
No idea. We can't build the chart without suggestions from INTPs.

ENFP here, the first book in our section is a good fit, I'd say either the Dao De Jing, Spinoza's Ethics, or Process and Reality would also fit.

>> No.17160413

Recent result was ENFJ. The Prince, Carl Jung, Thus Spoke Zarathustra were great, looking forward to reading For My Legionaries. I hated reading The Picture of Dorian Gray.

INFJ here, why should I read either of those?

Has anyone read Prometheus Rising cover to cover here? I read the first chapter and it was actually pretty good; my only problem is the exercises. 1. they're fucking stupid, and 2. I live in a pretty rural area where I can't exactly walk around looking for quarters or whatever without driving 20 minutes out of my way.

Is the rest of the book good/understandable without having done the exercises? Does he just go on a schizo rant about how the maker (or whatever it's called) part of our brain forms everything the thinker portion dreams up?

It used to be the board for tfw no gf posting and general woman hating with the fellas but it’s a shadow of its former self now. High profile suicides and school shootings originating from the place attracted a slew of normies. The vice documentary on incel attracted a lot of retards too. The uptake in population and the poor quality of stock plummeted the board to shit tier
