Go to Library. The rest you can figure out on your own.

Just start with the Readers Edition. You’re going to want to revisit it later. Get the facsimile later on for your coffee table.

Price should be around 200 bucks for sure. However, this edition is mainly a collectors item. It features huge drawings and paintings, a lot of German writings in his own handwriting, etc. Which even if you're decent in German, it's difficult to read. Coming from a transcriber. Just get readers edition.

Pretty much this. But I suspect that they were meant to be coupled together, because the Reader's Ed. has mere references to the drawings and paintings presented in the proper edition, which are kinda important if you are to understand what Jung was going through during the writing of the book. I recommend just buying the Reader's edition and then downloading the proper edition in order to see the drawings.

It looks great indeed. It's the centerpiece at my mom's. The gothic writing is unreadable though.

I can second this, the collectors edition is rather huge and frankly impractical to read.

Where should I begin to get into Jung's ideas? I was linked to pic related. Is it a good guide?
