Abels island by William steig was always my favorite. It's about a mouse who ends up a castaway on a deserted island. Love that book it's pure soul

An anon made a thread about The Edge Chronicles earlier this week and I started the first one because the art seemed interesting. It's comfy, a whimsical world and fun cast of characters. Got that whole buccaneering adventure vibe.
