Without giving myself away(though I've made like $200 on my novels), one was "sci fi" where a creature from a supernova ended up in a field while a kid was playing out there. Shit happens in that field and eventually bad stuff happens but the bad stuff was actually good stuff and I don't feel like getting into it. Was a good concept but I couldn't get the finish how I wanted it.

Second one was about people hallucinating from the tap water and shit in the air and even in the gas mask canisters when they became needed. Conspiracy type book but not what you'd expect in the end. Actually sold a decent number of copies.
