Most of the book is inside Holden's head. He almost never whines out loud despite how bad he feels on the inside. Therefore making him a pretty positive character.

I laughed so hard when he said "broke every toe in her body." Like he could have just said in her foot but it's in her body I just thought that was hilarious.
