Bible says: "You will recognize them by their fruit." To call the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) "false" is wrong because of this alone. For what are his fruits? He was sent as a mercy to the world, that people should live according to piety, justice, honour, dignity and respect. That the rights of all creatures are upheld. That God alone is worshipped, and no partners are ascribed to Him.

In other words: A false prophet is known by making false predictions. Muhammad (peace be upon him) predicted many things which have come to pass today and which would have been impossible for a normal 6th century Arab to know.
Among them is the global reach of Islam, the rise of the Byzantines after their defeat, the conquest of Egypt by the Muslims, the construction of tunnels in Mecca, the construction of tall buildings higher than mountains... and many more.

In OLD WRITTEN ARABIC, we didn’t have VOCALS(i,e/a; vocal “u” in Arabic is similar as w(vav) so that “U” at start is not same vocal as in other languages, but here it is as throat u’ with apostrophe). At that moment, somebody wanted to humiliate Mariam by knowing that honor was EVERYTHING to her. The perfect way to do that is to knock her down by comparing her with the sister of HUMBLE H/ARON. Allah swt wanted to stress importance of HUMILITY and that was the reason she wasn’t called as “sister of Moses” cos H/ARON is the best known for his humble attitude and that is why he is chosen to be a companion in propethood along with his brother Moses who was more strict than him.

There's a hadith where Muhammed is actually asked about this and he gave a different response. He said that it was common for people to take the names of people from the past.
