By 17 I had 4 full bookcases and moving out of my parental home I realised it was untenable. After several years of reading on a computer screen before the Kindle was invented, I bought and jailbroke a kindle. I've never looked back. I still have nice books but only if they are good editions, meaningful gifts or awards.

Just about to build a new bookcase for the things I've kept but also glad I've not got an entire bedroom of books to deal with.
