I don't get why Zizek claims Deleuze was a Hegelian. There are certain aspects, such as an irreducible metaphysical pluralism, that doesn't seem to fit that well with Hegel. But then again Hegel's greatest strength (and maybe problem) is that his thought can be extended to encompass just about anything. Not being Hegelian is the most Hegelian thing possible.

because hotdogman is a classic marxist, makes sense then he would see dalooz in his marxist verbiage because he is part of that scene. is the same way how people see hotdogman as verging right wing on his later critique.

Is this really Hegel's system? Is it even worth trying to understand it?

I'm no expert, but from what I learned from actual orthodox Hegelians (aka not Zizek) he makes sense in small doses and when thought of in reference to Kant (for example in terms of how he described categories, Hegel builds on that and extends it).

I'd say he's worth studying just for the sheer amount of autism that he spawned. There was even a site with a 3D representation of his entire system, but I can't find it for the life of me.

It was similar to this, only in 3D:

I swear to God you omit the historicism out of Hegel and marxist have nothing left to grasp in Hegel

There are plenty who strictly follow Hegel's language in discussing philosophy (like unironically, they will critique you on misusing a certain notion).

That lead to some of the funniest, but also most annoying conversations I've ever witnessed. It also makes people like that completely unable to understand anything that's not German Idealism. But usually they're dismissive of anything else so they won't care.
