Stop breaking the rules. Your thread has a Discord in it, which is considered offtopic advertising.

Thank you for posting this. I, too, am tired of that guy spamming his Discord in every single sffg op.

/sffg/, what are some books I can read that will remind me of the days when I was a teenager and thought I was a genius and everything was possible?

I liked the parts of The Name of the Wind and Ender's Game that focused on the protagonists passionately mastering new subjects. They made me feel whole again

Read some more of the stories from Mirrorshades.
>snake-eyes (Tom Maddox)
Neat computers in my brain story, plus feral/alpha-beta-omega/in-heat fetish sex scenes
>rock on (Pat Cadigan)
Bold to assume rock and roll music would stay relevant, but I guess it was still the 80s.
>tales of Houdini (Rudy Rucker)
The author does not make the genre. Didn't belong. Fun little story, but didn't belong.

Yeah, he seems to think he's above the rules for some reason. He's been doing this shit for months.

Anyway, on topic: what is the best Sprawl book? I think Neuromancer itself, but some of the short stories in the same universe are really kino.

I find that most "coming of age" stories give me this feeling. For some reason Bridge to Terabithia comes to mind but that's not very fantasy

Been reading some very pulp-y Sci Fi lately and came across the Mallworld series by Somtow Sucharitkul. Anybody else heard of this? Totally amazing stuff but I feel like this sort of thing is doomed to be forgotten. Still, for being 40 years old it's held up really well.

Would I be a massive homo if I unironically suggested the Harry Potter series?

I will forever hold the contrarian opinion of liking Count Zero aside from the bits about Turner.
