I haven't read it but I think the concept of natural law was popularized by Thomas Aquinas' Summa Theologica . That's probably a good place to start.

Most Christians (not only protestants) define evil as that which is unfamiliar to their world view.
Have you seen the Christians on /pol/? There is no semblance of what is evil or not, simply if it isn't taught in the dialect of mainstream Christians than it is automatically part of a grand anti-Christian conspiracy.
