Hardcore larper. Even at 30 seconds a page which is somewhat fast especially for denser books, that's 10 hrs of reading a day on average.

>> No.16850246

>>16850212
I've been reading since I was 3 and I just kept reading more and more complicated material. The more dense it is, the longer a slog (if it is a slog). I considered reading the bible in one day is a milestone. It's not that easy to understand. I think I was twelve when I first accomplished reading the bible in a day. You can shit, shower and shave and that's it. The rest of the day is spent reading.

I don't do it every single day. Just when something is super interesting. I loved Moby Dick but it took me almost a month to get through it. If the material is easy to digest, 1600/l.pp a dday is np.

I'm trying too, turn off computer and leave your phone in another room. Just sit somewhere quiet with your book, be interested in whatever it is your reading.

I have no idea, it depends on the book. I read until I'm unable to keep focus which is about an hour, then I take a break and read for another hour and repeat as necessary

Eh it depends some days I read a hundred pages, some day only 10, other times non at all. It should be a chore to read so I only read when I feel like doing so. Same as writing.

I legitimately read about 280 pages today, 22 of which I typed.
I finished 3 different books, one of which I started today! It feels good because I hadn't finished a single book in quite a while prior to this.
It is the biggest amount of reading in a single day I have done in a very long time, the closest thing I remember was 3 months ago when I read 250 pages if the dead zone

Depends entirely on the book and the day. Anywhere from 20-100+. Some books are larger print or formatted in such a way that there are more pages than usual. I can usually read double my average amount with those books. Typically I read around 30-40 pages.

Last year I read 60 books including Infinite Jest, the Iliad, the Odyssey and Don Quixote, at the moment I'm in second year sixth form and doing 4 A levels and mentally at a low point and now I'm reading Pale Fire which I like but I don't read every day and when I do manage to make myself read it's about 5 pages

On average maybe 60 pages a day. Depending on how good the book is, and how busy I am. I also try to balance my other hobbies, so I don't just read all day. Although during summer lockdown I did exactly that and I loved it, probably averaged 300 pages a day
