i read it, and if you read you will realise that when Q said "read Taipeir instead, that's a masterpiece" he was being sarcastic. Taipei is "oh, look how cool am i doing all this synthetic drugs and talking artsy to my snobby friends while my narrator spams in the dialogue markers "asked accusatorily".

anyway, anyhow; if you liked the beat generation, you'll like this book; and if you could endured the incessant amounts of adverbs and adjectives which bloated Taipei, you will read baby alex like you drink a cup of tea.
