Which /lit/ character would you most like to have accompany you in real life? For me, it's gotta be JEEVES. This chappie is so bally humorous, I swear that each time he opens his mouth I am positively compelled to burst out in guffaws. Not to mention that his quick wit could have saved me not a bit of struggle at times when I found myself knee deep in the bouillon and tossed about by lifes bally cruel taste in justice

Not a bad choice I suppose, deucedly stern chappie all told, but I wager he'd keep the old soul from slipping into the mire, so to speak

Well, Jeeves, it seems our old thread is about waist-deep in the bouillon right about now, that's deucedly saddening old chappie
"Might I suggest a Bump, sir?"
Jeeves, you're bally brilliant!

Serious advice. Buy a toupee and better clothes. You were not like me. That is for sure, but you could still improve yourself a bit.

You can't possibly with a straight face believe I ever had funny with any of your family. Any of the girls here would be out of their minds with rage if they had to sit at that fucking table listening to those dweebs.

For me it's gotta be Yōzō from the novel No Longer Human written by Osamu Dazai.
I think it would be rather refreshing to hear his thoughts through the day, though a bit depressing.

Bertie. He's more affable compared to stuffy old Jeeves. Bertie could be my wingman in Edwardian England. We'd hit the Drones Club together, and josh around for a bit. Get drunk, make fun of Gussie, that sort of thing. And then we'd cruise the streets later in the evening to pick up some bitches and head back to Bertie's crib where we proceed to give them the old in-and-out, if you catch my drift. Then we'd just get drunk and pass out with our hoes, only to be awoken by Jeeves next morning, standing over us with his tray of proprietary hangover drinks, trying to contain his impish smile when he sees the naked girls in our bed.
