Definitely. Effects of drug use differ from user to user. One person who has done a shitload of acid may find that the experiences as told within the book make no sense to them because of their different reaction to drugs. If anything I think that people who have never used psychoactives may find their expectations reinforced by Fear and Loathing. Either that or they'll hate it. But that's probably the same with drug users.

It always amazes me that people actually are against marijuana, having that position is infinitely more childish and ignorant than supposedly smoking it is. It is so harmless, to be honest I don't even call it a drug anymore. To be honest though, marijuana lit would probably be uninteresting. Books influenced by psychedelics are usually the best (i.e. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest)

Changing thread to reading while blowed

Smoking marijuana is how I got in to reading for pleasure, someone recommended some book to me when I was in high school and told me it was trippy as fuck if you read it blowed. I smoked a butt load of bud and went to the library a found it and chilled in the teen cornner with a bunch of 8 year olds and my mind was blown. Through the years I have learned not to smoke as much before reading cause it slows down my comprehension rate. But I will still put the batter up before I start a long reading seccion, makes good writing intence
