Are there any authors that make you feel the need to read every single one of their works, even their more mediocre ones? For me it is Henry James and Thomas Bernhard.

Lots of ugly elements have seeped in. The christfags have graffitied our once cozy library space, and their alter egos have come to do worse.
I should give up the place. Cheap entertainment only distracts.
That’s probably where the best of us went.

I'm administering arsehole enemas to drunken marines after anally fucking them so they don't get reported for blowing boozy.

I'm currently in the process of going through Flaubert's complete works and I pity the people who have only read Madame Bovary.

True, have you read "A Simple Soul"? Very comfy story

Maurice Leblanc was almost that for me, until I realized there's quite a lot that is just too depressing for my comfort. You can really feel the wars changed him.
Souvestre and Allain kept me quite busy with Fantômas, so I haven't really looked at their other work, but I am interested. Maybe not so much the stuff Allain wrote alone, his solo work is kind of weak, at least one novel from Fantômas series is a total miss, and none of his own creations really took off in popularity.
I guess only Agatha Christie comes close to this.
