I'm getting pretty married to the conclusion that most of life is designed around self-justification, self-sustainment of society, and living in service of a small elite. Said elite use the labor of the masses to get some level of mastery over the earth, enjoy hedonism and play power games with each other. Whether or not the elite is conscious of this process is the question.

Science couldn't have been perceived if it weren't for mysticism, and it was thanks to science and wisdom that we as a species survived.
There are many patterns in nature, and clues that point towards something greater.

When we are talking about the mind, is a particular understanding of what reality is. It's this habit that we have that we don't or are not aware of anymore: it's a very humanistic habit. Ideas create humanity, the mind, is only available to the Greeks i.e. the greeks discovered it.. not the egyptians, not indians, not the chinese, is that none of these ancient cultures were able to project the mind outside their own particular world. For the chinese, there was no world outside of china. For the indians, it was forbidden to cross the oceans - its a sin. For the ancient mesopotamians and egyptians, these were extremely inward-looking cultures.
