Socialism is when everyone in society becomes the state. It's "stateless" because no one is left outside of the operations of the state anymore. Sometimes extra steps are needed to reach that point. A state is just a uniform body that serves as a command center for society's various functions.

The Nazis were socialists of the German nation. All Nazis were part of the state, making it socialist, but the state's identify was founded in a national history, making it nationalist as well.

If you still don't consider Nazis a type of hybridization of socialism and nationalism, then I don't know what to tell you.
