The year is 2035, All major tech companies have finally completed their Augmented Reality compact headsets. Bought Hololens gen 4 mostly for productivity. I scroll through the filter overlays in the appstore, find a 4.5 star of 5 anime reality overlay. I download it, and instantly my view of the world looks like something out of my imagination, damn even that subpar girl on the train is even waifu material. AI came a long way since I was a kid. Shit, I wonder what my hamwife looks like, this could save my marriage! I am not attracted to her as she is, but this could at least make it so I can look at her. I head to my front door, open it, and my smile immediately fades. Pic related.

What future do you see for consumers in 15 years /lit/?

Unironically Nick Land or Mark Fisher
Baudrillard would be pretty good to.

If you're looking for KINO fiction, Neuromancer, dreams of amputation, and altered carbon all have some neat stuff.
