Hello /lit/, here's a collection of Oxford World's Classics. I love the font, layout, notes, intros of these editions and wanted to share what I've gathered. Happy reading bros

Not OP but felt like sharing a few more Oxford Press editions. Here's their translations of the entire Rougon Macquart series by Emile Zola, in EPUB format, retail quality (i.e., ripped from Amazon)

I'm on a private tracker that only deals with ebooks. They should probably be on trantor.is, Mobilism or IRC, but it would be harder to distinguish between editions.

Thank you, this is great. Reading the oxford edition of Flaubert's Three Tales atm.
Maybe the wrong place to ask this but I've been looking around for an epub or pdf of the Fagles translation of the Theban Plays with no luck. The Paul Roche version would also be fine if anyone has it. Neither are from Oxford but figured someone might have them ferreted away...

desu bros i cant get into pirated epubs, they usually have fucked up formatting
a good pdf with readable sized font on a kindle is the way to go for me

Then sign up on Mobilism.org. Most of the retail (properly formatted) copies are posted as such. It's just a bit of cancer navigating all the ad ridden DL links.

Alternatively, download Sigil and get your epubs from other sources. Open the epub files with it. You don't have to know any HTML or CSS. If the classes are named "calibre1... n" it's been tampered and would be impossible to know just how much.
Tags should have obscure class names. A .css file with some publisher header is also a good sign.
Even something like
><meta content="urn:uuid:NUMBERS" name="Adept.expected.resource"/>
is also a good indicator of quality.

thanks anon ill try it out
i still prefer a pdf on a kindle though, it retains some of the feel of a real book while having the benefits of a kindle (lightweight, free, digital library)
