I'm desperately seeking to help a loved one. There must be at least a few books with legit protocols. It's pancreatic cancer but caught early.

No, but don't drink it too late, caffeine can stay in your body for 6 hours after you drank it

You are better off talking to doctors about it. They will tell you what you need to know. Be careful with books. There is an entire market dedicated to selling fake advice to desperate people, and that's what most books you'll read will contain. If you want to go further than what your doctor recommends, the best choice is to email a prestigious University (a specific staff person might be better) about what the current state of research is and what papers to read to best be acquainted. If you want my advice, the most interesting and promising field of research is biologics/immunotherapy

How Not To Die? I haven't read more than a few chapters but it claims you can reverse a lot of diseases with diet changes. It has about 100 pages dedicated to citations. I'm not a doctor so do your own due diligence.

>There must be at least a few books with legit protocols
there are none. all of the so called "protocols" that people come up with are based on wishful thinking, healer fantasies and a desperate desire to believe that a horrendous disease like cancer can be simply cured by eating almonds or whatever. most of them will not be actively harmful (except maybe the one that suggests literally consuming cyanide) but could cause someone to avoid seeking real treatment.
pancreatic cancer is a nasty disease and the treatment is also pretty nasty. i'm sorry anon. there are no easy answers.

this.
The amount of snake oil salesman in the cancer industry is enormous.
IF you have a good scientific background, then maybe you can navigate the sea of misinformation. But even then I'd advise to use your skills to judge the doctors. Ask as much as you can.

Sucks to hear, anon. Sadly there are no legit "protocols". very one starts at a different place and when it comes to cancer there are just too many variables.

Take what your doctors say with a fucking gigantic brick of salt. I had Crohn's disease and was told diet did nothing, that it was incurable and that I would have to take medication for the rest of my life. It's been 7 years since I got off my medication after changing my diet and lifestyle. I know plenty of people personally who have overcome cancer, autoimmune issues, etc with diet and lifestyle changes.

I can't tell you what to do, but I recommend you start thinking logically about your daily lifestyle. Look into the work of Valter Longo, I haven't read How not to die yet but it's probably a decent starting place. Try to attain health (including mental health) in general, not just treating a specific disease.

>I had Crohn's disease and was told diet did nothing
then you received misinformation. it is well accepted that dietary changes can control the symptoms of crohn's. i am pleased to hear it is working for you.
>Look into the work of Valter Longo
i didn't know his work so i just read a bit. it seems to be mostly sensible- not eating too much, eating less meat and more fruits and vegetables and so on. pretty normal stuff. he doesn't seem to focus on cancer and as he appears to be a reputable scientist would probably concur that all "alt med" treatments are ineffective.
there is a big difference between preventing cancer and curing it. i totally believe that the risk of some types of cancer that are not strongly related to genetic factors can be greatly reduced by some simple changes to one's lifestyle. once cancer has arrived, things change. cancer cannot be cured by munching on a few stems of asparagus.

>> No.16472893

I meant his work on fasting and a fasting mimicking diet.
>once cancer has arrived, things change. cancer cannot be cured by munching on a few stems of asparagus.
I completely agree. As I said there are no "legit protocols". Everyone starts in a different place.
