This is an odd question, but make it so you can read the text at a comfortable distance. And that's it.

Books are far superior to a phone, tablets better for pdf, small e-readers for trashy novels you dont want people to see you reading.

Phones are good for audiobooks and podcasts, but audiobooks are really only good for trashy fiction.
