It seems to be that they experience this euphoria and inflated ego while creating, then days pass, and they look back at their work to hate it. Then even more time passes, and they look back at it like, “huh, it’s actually good.”
It seems like you when you make something sincere that’s at least of decent quality you get that euphoric feeling that doesn’t allow for any doubts while creating, as opposed to forcing yourself to be positive.
