In a love/hate bromance kinda way: Ralph and Jack

In a toxic co-dependent "love" story way: Cathy and Heathcliff

My favorites are Werther and Spring Snow. They remind from when I was younger and in love with a beautiful girl until my friends ruined it for me.

One of them caught me staring at her they made talk to her, which was humilliating and I will never forgive myself for that.

Yes. I didn't even want to date her lol, I was obsessed with Dante back in the day and I was thinking of her as some kind of Beatrice (I know that sounds cringe af), so I didn't expect to talk to her at all, and when they forced me to talk to her I was almost shaking.

Possession: A Romance by A.S Byatt. Absolutely ripped my heart out with how beautiful the love stories are tied together.

Fantomas and lady Beltham

You might think they are like devil and angel, but I'd say they are closer to yin and yang, since she, as symbol of light, can draw out a little bit of humanity from him, but he, the embodiment of darkness, gradually awakens a bit of evil in her.
I don't think I can really describe what attracted me to their relationship in few words, it was certainly an odd one, I'll just say that the scene where lady Beltham, horrified that her jealousy made her kill an innocent woman by mistake, commits suicide, and Fantomas can't do anything but hold her close as she draws her last breath, ignoring the impending doom, for those moments with her are the last he'll ever have... that had to be the scene with most impact in whole series.
