I don't ignore it, I just think it's a false revelation. The Qur'an asserts the bible and especially the Torah and Gospels are true yet contradicts them. It was only hundreds of years after Muhammad when Muslims realized this that they started claiming the bible was corrupted. The problem is we have consistent manuscripts spanning thousands of years and time periods. If it's corrupted now it was corrupt when God/Muhammad declared they were true, making them a liar.

A part of me actually does believe Muhammad was a prophet, but not of God. He served the father of all lies possibly without even knowing it. Considering some of the early biographies of Muhammad where he was said to have mistaken "satanic suggestion" for divine revelation, he probably did think he was serving God but as we see in the Gospel, even the devil can quote scripture to serve his ends.

I think this sort of criticism is petty and will never actually convince somebody that Islam is false. The reason why is because it can easily be explained as God setting particular standards of behavior. The Muslim claim is that God is revealing the Qur'an through Muhammad and his life so things like this would be expected if that were true.

Nobody is served by interpreting a text in the least charitable way possible. It's the type of thing you would see "new atheists" constantly do with the bible and I do think it's a type of ignorance.

Your two statements contradict each other. If Rasool-Allah (pbuh) ever claimed that the Bible is authentic, then he can not have been inspired by Shaitan. If Rasool-Allah were inspired by Shaitan to make up a false religion, he would not have said that the Bible is from God. Seeing as he (pbuh) both acknowledged the monotheism of the Bible, specified the First Commandment of monotheism, and rejected the polytheism of the New Testament - a collection of documents written by unknown men, and selected by Roman pagans - there is no way that he could have been inspired by anyone but God.

The Bible has problems in terms of its transmission and preservation, and all biblical scholars worth their salt would agree. We don't know who wrote the Gospels, and the Gospels that are in the Bible today were not selected by God - they were selected by random Roman authorities, because they liked them.
