And don't tell me it was always like this, before the pandemic, every time I visited this board I saw something that I thought might be worth checking out. Now it's nothing, just absolute garbage all day every day.

What other websites, lists, or forums contain high quality /lit/ selections with enough variety and theming to capture one's attention? I don't have an English lit degree, so I'm not informed enough to decide what to read in the basis of any formula. I just have to try something that looks good at the time.

Are you amenable today lectures? Some of the YouTube Yale ones are good (don quixote one helped me appreciate the first half more) and many of Hubert Dreyfus’s lectures are available for free in YouTube too.

Fuck this defeatist attitude, i'm clawing back /lit/ one effortpost at a time. There is no magic literature forum on the internet, there is no Elysian Field where there is only great discussion 24/7 and everything is perfect. Why? because everyone sits around with their dicks in their hands waiting for others to do something first. Well, if everyone is going to stand around jerking off, then i guess i'll just have to start the ball rolling, with what is within my ability, and see what happens. Instead of pining after a castle in the sky, why not put some effort in to build it here on earth?
