>who cares, the insurance will cover it
>it’s just property, it’s infinitely less important then human life

How are people that say this in anyway Marxist? A job and a business is not just a job or a business you’re destroying people’s way of life. Also no the insurance isn’t gonna cover it and you’ve probably destroyed countless small businesses across multiple cities. These people are a fucking abomination, they claim to be marxists but are the foot soldiers of Jeff Bezos.

What's so complex about it? Marxists will always prefer that a business-owning middle-class wouldn't exist. Too many people with stakes in capitalism that you'd have to kill later (or before) - much like the kulaks. For their wet dreams is much better to have all-pervasive, oligopolistic big corps that you'll only have to nationalize once and kill a couple of board members. Amazon, Google are excellent, really.
Even if that doesn't happen, you'd be good. Maybe you'll be able to grift a little inside big corps with racial sensibility lectures, maybe they'll sponsor your research about some idiotic topic. Maybe, if you actually can believe it, unionizing and radicalizing the working force of those gigantic companies would facilitate any revolutionary struggle.
So, yes, the business-owning American middle-class is the greatest enemy. Bezos is really the greatest ally.
Of course none of this will happen (except the grifting). Big corporations will only grow stronger and more powerful. Unionization will always be diligently stopped. No revolution will come. The impoverished middle-class will become increasingly fascistic, just like the good ol days.

To be clear I’m right leaning but imo Marx is not given enough credit by our side, he makes a lot of damn good points particularly in how the industrial revolution either destroyed or completely transformed people’s way of life in a rapid amount of time. We would do well to incorporate some parts of Marxism.

The left I feel as well, particularly the modern day bourgeois left, seems to me at least as misread on Marxism as those in the right. Idk if they just don’t read him and only crop the aesthetic, but it’s like they play into the caricature of the utterly naive but not so secretly sadistic retards libertarians have painted of them.

These are bourgeois protests. The whole "trained marxists" thing was always, always a joke. Cops should stop shooting poor people. We will always need cops, they will always need to be able to shoot people. BLM is an organization oriented to securing NGO jobs, college and graduate school scholarships, and cush journalism gigs for the opportunistic children of the black political class. They've created a system for bourgeois liberal elite to inform on each other, another weapon in their arsenal of social warfare against each other. That said, those who actually read and follow the theory of marx do not have a monopoly on calling themselves marxists, so we certainly need a better name for people who reject liberal social norms including "identity politics," and who appreciate a materialist and class based approach to revolution. This is an ongoing conflict, part of the greater tapestry of meaningless leftist infighting.

> The proletariat seizes from state power and turns the means of production into state property to begin with. But thereby it abolishes itself as the proletariat, abolishes all class distinctions and class antagonisms, and abolishes also the state as state. Society thus far, operating amid class antagonisms, needed the state, that is, an organization of the particular exploiting class, for the maintenance of its external conditions of production, and, therefore, especially, for the purpose of forcibly keeping the exploited class in the conditions of oppression determined by the given mode of production (slavery, serfdom or bondage, wage-labor). The state was the official representative of society as a whole, its concentration in a visible corporation. But it was this only insofar as it was the state of that class which itself represented, for its own time, society as a whole: in ancient times, the state of slave-owning citizens; in the Middle Ages, of the feudal nobility; in our own time, of the bourgeoisie. When at last it becomes the real representative of the whole of society, it renders itself unnecessary. As soon as there is no longer any social class to be held in subjection, as soon as class rule, and the individual struggle for existence based upon the present anarchy in production, with the collisions and excesses arising from this struggle, are removed, nothing more remains to be held in subjection — nothing necessitating a special coercive force, a state. The first act by which the state really comes forward as the representative of the whole of society — the taking possession of the means of production in the name of society — is also its last independent act as a state. State interference in social relations becomes, in one domain after another, superfluous, and then dies down of itself. The government of persons is replaced by the administration of things, and by the conduct of processes of production. The state is not ’abolished’. It withers away. This gives the measure of the value of the phrase ’a free people’s state’, both as to its justifiable use for a long time from an agitational point of view, and as to its ultimate scientific insufficiency; and also of the so-called anarchists’ demand that the state be abolished overnight.
