Simps are just a byproduct of feminized society and absent fathers. You're supposed to get the "niceness" part from your mother and the firmness, risk-taking and get-shit-done part of the equation from your father.

Also it doesn't help that most young men are extremely worse off in their financial prospects than their parents. It's hard to be confident when you have poor financials and zero job security, the lone outlet for men then remains criminal activity and superficial displays of "superiority" like big muscles, acting tough etc, which is a complete waste of male potential.
