Look on PocketBook readers. They have hardware buttons. You can turn ebook bages by them. Also they support almost all ebook formats.

What's the refresh rate like on Pocketbook? Are the page turns fast? That's all that matters really.

Pocketbook Touch Lux 5 has 212 PPI. Does PPI really matter for epubs?

I've bought Paperwhite 4. It's my first E-reader. Probably not the best for the price, but I'll have to do with it. It's pretty comfy though, reading next to a candle or in a bath

Then don't use PDF.
It only makes sense if you need to exactly replicate the layout of printed pages, which you don't for most non-technical text.
I prefer epub even when I'm not reading from e-ink.

>PDF looks awful on e-ink.
To start with, most ebooks aren't big enough to display the layout of PDF files, which is meant to mimic the printed page and thus static; that's the whole idea behind PDFs. In the other hand, EPUBs (and derivative formats) are meant to be reflow-able, resizable, font agnostic, etc. In any case, an epub is just a glorified zipped folder of HTML files, images, fonts, etc.

>does newer versions of kindle read epub or djvu ?
They can probably read epub but there might be some encoding differences causing some formatting issues. In any case, mobi/awz is just Bezos' shitty spin-off of epub. Fuck Bezos!

not giving money to bezos. Also i sit on more than 100k library. And i heard there is a newer version of mobi. So is mobi , epub or djvu more popular ? I guess mobi because amazon, but i have seen more epub than mobi , any other opinion ?
