No, you don’t. The introductions to the Landes translations cover anything you’d need from Husserl. The MMP reader is to help you get used to his writing style, he has a method of writing that can be tricky to follow through sustained arguments. It also introduces you to everything he will cover in TPOP, but in a way that’s pretty easy to follow, compared to jumping right in. Descartes’ meditations are all over TPOP.
