But, the bible is still true. The same way "the turtle and the hare" is true.

If everyone strives for virtue, we create heaven on earth. Like merry olde England, or Japan in the 60's.
If everyone sins, we create hell on earth. Like communist Russia.

The snake is a complex organism. But it's not intelligent, it's not social, it has no limbs, and all it does is eat/fuck/die. It represents a potential for evolution - one that's brutish, utilitarian and simple.
Humans are the opposite. We're intelligent/social, we manipulate our environment, we have no clear purpose but we strive to live alongside nature in harmony. We represent another potential for evolution - one that's vibrant, interesting, and complex.
When natural selection favors intelligent, good people, we get closer to heaven on earth. When natural selection favors the brutish and utilitarian (snake), we get closer to hell on earth.

Of course Jesus isn't real, of course the bible is a fraud, but how else can you get millions of morons to behave? The bible is about preserving the evolution of mankind, and preventing the NiggerWorld.
