A “creator” of the universe is an absurdist invention. I cannot in good conscious buy into it.
An afterlife also seems pretty obviously invented to comfort the frightened at the sight of corpses.

One organism connects / produces the sensation of 'you' that experiences the other sensations and this is an evolutionary adaptation. Stating that you end in one organism's death is akin to saying that hunger ends when you eat. It's solipsistic and wrong.

As an absolute potentiality creating the universe by coming into existence by realizing itself. God is then both transcendent and immanent. He is not a static idea, but a constantly evolving (or decaying if you don't want a specific idea of that movement) in this world.

The 'mask of God' is created by us (as opposed to idea of God himself being created through us) and is often the god of theism; it is the divine Law against which we must transgress (Hebrews 10:20, veil of flesh, the grounded human experience). In assuming the burden of sin against the Law, we are geared towards a mutually-ensured destruction of both the sinner and the Law. Sin must fail as the Law's apparent "goodness" constitutes its own opposite - the transgression of its own moral limits. Both the sinner and the Law remain broken. The Law is shown to be irreconcilably inconsistent. This movement of Law/transgression/punishment breaks the wheel of the Law itself and exposes it as a false-cover of sorts over the inconsistency of a binary moral "reality". A second negation of the negation happens within the sinner insofar as the drive to annihilation fails to completely annihilate him. Rather, what occurs is both a positive moment in which the individual is broken by the Law and the internalized restraints of identity it places upon the individual annihilate themselves through the Law's self-negation; this propels the subject towards the groundless void from which all things spring. This is not a direct experience of GOD Himself (though it is a divine experience by proxy), but of the ontological delirium resting at the heart of the fallen World. To touch the Void is to experience the Rupture - that moment at which man's ground gives way, opening itself to the (apparent) madness that is the unity of Being. GOD is not touched in this delirium, but the homogeneity of His absence and presence is.

Mark 10:14 - But when Jesus saw [it], he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.

Proverbs 22:6 - Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it.

And the Lord said, Whereunto then shall I liken the men of this generation? and to what are they like? They are like unto children sitting in the marketplace, and calling one to another, and saying , We have piped unto you, and ye have not danced; we have mourned to you, and ye have not wept. For John the Baptist came neither eating bread nor drinking wine; and ye say, He hath a devil. The Son of man is come eating and drinking; and ye say, Behold a gluttonous man, and a winebibber, a friend of publicans and sinners! But wisdom is justified of all her children. Luke 7:31-35
