Different anon, but Mutual Aid is based because cooperation is inherent to any healthy nation-state. Evolution isn’t inherently about struggle between individuals and “might makes right”. Hitler’s idea of the Volksgemeinschaft was a cooperative and harmonious community it has to be remembered. It is especially a good idea to have if you accept organicism.

I read it about a year ago, and apart from the Holohoax it wasn’t really as bad as you’d think. It gave some good discussion over the need for Lebensraum and backed it up with charts and the like. It attempts to downplay Hitler’s economic miracle but fails to do so. Unlike many books you can’t hear the author kvetching too much at least. A lot of people may sperg out over it talking about Hitler’s plans for eastern expansion. I’ve seen people on /pol/ outright deny that he wanted to do this even though he makes it a centerpiece of Mein Kampf, they’re coping hard. Hitler did nothing wrong though, don’t get me wrong.

Hitler was embarrassed by Mein Kampf by 1933, and wanted an alliance with the USSR in 1939. And then wanted everything to the Urals in 1940 and then wanted some of Ukraine in 1942 and then wanted to survive in 1943.

The lebensraum is an idea but it’s also more like Republicans saying they wanted to repeal Obamacare for 10 year’s and cut taxes. Then they get in to power and don’t repeal Obama care and cut taxes by 2% (Trumps first 2 years).

It’s just good polemics to site mein kampf when convenient but they fail to bring up Hitler moved away from most of the ideas in the book by 1933 and sidelined the guys who wanted those ideas.

"Mein Kampf" was still for sale in 1939 with chapter 14, containing Hitler's designs on Russia, fully intact. This is significant, because Hitler had a history of revising "Mein Kampf" when he found it to be inappropriate propaganda for the time. In other words, you're wrong.

This is an excellent, balanced book which touches on economic issues, and the difference between National Socialism and International Socialism.
I am really enjoying it.

I'd be more interested in a general anti-capitalist rec thread. There's literally no point being a Nazi if Capitalism still exists.
