I've been trying to figure out what I want to ask you for quite some time now and I'm still not really sure. I read your Lasch, Fisher, analytics, Spengler, Marx, Land, whatever.
Since the start of this year 8 months ago I've felt my mind rewiring itself, it started with me experiencing objects as their entirety, an example is when I talk with people I can't keep myself away from thinking about their blood vessels, bones, sight and more importantly their point of reference or rather their interpreted substructure they've made inside a compiled overall superstructure for themselves, which leaves me experiencing some people as merely an extension of Netflix, naming one influencing corporation. A mass manufactured snow-globe became an entire process of self referencing industrialisation in my mind. My university building turned into a body just as much as a human has a body, and I a body component of the universities body when I am in it and because of roads I am always connected to it like a moving macrophage in a human body.
More simply, instead of seeing a green tree I see a teleology from the code of a seed in the right environment to make it to the process.
I haven't said much just yet but I wanted to show my current frame of thinking.
So because of this, what came next for me was watching a clock, I felt a point between numbers become a process of endless infinitesimals moving deeper until a reference in reality was met forcing it into discretion. On top of that the clock, or its view of time rather is in an artificial numeral system made by man but it seems that almost all just don't think of the clock as an object of itself but just an unbiased thing in the superstructure that they interpret. Epiphanies like this just keep revealing themselves.
The reason I'm posting this here is because I can't seem to talk about this with anyone no matter how hard I try, whether other engineering students, teachers or just random friends, because as I said they all seem to be in interpreted substructures and just can't hear me. My last hope was my very scientific dad but when we got to religion and I spoke for the catholic natural philosophers he just got angry with me and left calling Aquinas an authoritarian? Because since he was like 26 he seems to have existed in Russell's teapot which is just nonsensical considering the paradox of set theory only happens in an abstract math world yet this logic of the teapot gets to be applied to reality? Garbage, both the analogy and the paradox, it just seems to cause mental rot to me.
With the recent political fire in the western world and all noise surrounding covid I've just felt that the epiphanies I've been shown this year seem to all be proving themselves by induction in front of me.

And this leads me to my actual question since I really need an outside look on this or someone to just tell me anything about this. (I went to and tried talking to a school psychologist about my mind changing like this but he just gave me an anxiety calendar further leading me down to thinking my belief is correct). Am I becoming mentally ill or is almost every person in contemporary time around me mentally ill, blind to the superstructure and the possible infinity surrounding it?
Almost don't want to post this now after writing it but I feel so alone about this all so I'd just appreciate an outlook on it.

any knowledge of a superstructure as i imagine you interpret that is impossible. same with infinity, though you aren't wrong there in the fact that you only regarded it as "possible". though when you use language you've already subjected yourself to necessary universal falsehood, in application to all things including this reply

This one. You‘re becoming aware. It‘s good.

its fun attempting to articulate this so im giving a second reply here. what is your philosophy predicated on? language? logic? however you want to put it, ask the following question, what is your language or your logic based on? if no reliable answer can be given, there is no reliable answer at all

visually represented set theory applied to reality. So the paradox can't touch it since it would be inconsistent with reality. Reaching an outside view, seeing all these things as they really are here (here as in this superstructures environment) and not in a mind (substructure), things as in numbers, objects, technology, processes, human thoughts, etc. With an unknown outside superset above this superstructure. I'm not really proposing a formalization, rather just a tool to escape ones own false interpretation.
Otherwise, I become a child and I exist, my mind from a functional perspective is what it does, I go to school and am taught without being taught the metacognition itself underlying it, the process of thought and axioms taken to be true underneath that which men made to come to these conclusions are hidden in the superstructure which is our shared perceived environment. A mind existing in itself or its own substructure as a subset of the superstructure becomes mentally ill without origin only going further and deeper in, impossible for it to understand the things found in the superstructure above without its own mind going to it.
Example of mentally ill and relevant substructure thought is
>I see you are doing x, just like in dy (dee-why, small part of y)
or rather you are baking a pancake? Just like in the television show dy (small part of y)?
But what is actually happening is x in y, not x in dy.

if were thinking mathematically lets say x = x, the most basic equation. wherefore did we get =? the equation asserts itself as true regardless of the value of x due to =. so is it = = =? = =_? thus the fundamental self immolation of mathematics absent of a granted context, upon which there is no reliable basis. and if the basis for all answer is unreliable, again, what reliable answer can be given? all we have is language and it is incapable. the fact that you disagree with this reinforces the argument, by the way

why is inconsistency with reality a problem? wouldn't that be the only possible answer to any metaphysical question? there seems to be a lack of understanding of the word metaphysical. and paradox is predicated on nothing but logic, so i ask again, upon what is logic or language predicated?

the endpoint here is that all is possibility, uncertainty, unreliability in any metaphysical or philosophical sense, where as there may be definition in the holistic falsehood of practicality. therein it appears we may agree, but the only course of action one can reasonably make from this conclusion is to remove oneself from any metaphysical question, so you and i have failed there

I enjoyed reading this anon, really. I remember when I felt this way, very nostalgic. I'm too tired to longpost but maybe you'll find your answer in some sufficiently lonely sentiment like Nietzsche's idea of Eternal Recurrence as one example, but only one example. Kierkegaard's leap of faith is another example. Preferably design your own. Once you find a way to relate your peculiar kind of loneliness to history and the world, then at that point you'll find yourself reacting to things like life and death, wondering about them, they'll start making you giddy with joy at the possibilities, you will also notice that you can exert your thoughts a lot stronger. Only be careful not to get caught in the snare of the false dichotomy of determinism and free-will, I struggled a lot with that myself, although you may be smarter than me and have already overcome that hurdle. Sorry if I'm not being very articulate anon. You're in for some interesting experiences, no getting off Mr. Bones wild ride now.
