I got all three volumes during a end of semester history department clearence sale. as well as some cicero in latin ceasers commentaries and a collection of old Anglican ecclesiastical notes. pretty good haul. The Ruskins are dated from back to 1907 so they are in amazing condition for what they are.

For Modern Greek I want to read Kazantzakis, Elytis and Cavafy, maybe others, I don't know. For Koine/Classical there is so much stuff out there, but the end goal for me is to read Homer in the original Greek. I can't really think of a higher literary pursuit than that.

Read Kochanski if you want to learn about knives. This is the ideal size for a general use and woodworking knife, unless you need something for fighting, which is only about 1.5-2" longer.
His book is the best intro to knives and learning to use them.

I heard that it's very arduous, but I also heard starting with Modern Greek helps a lot (from dekaglossai, the youtuber, he has a PhD and is a pretty serious language learner, if you haven't you should check out his videos on Greek, they might help you a lot), so hopefully that eases things.
