What’s a research paper/thesis topic you guys did in college anons?

One of mine was “Trauma Theory in the Plays of Eugene O’Neill” where I used theories of ptsd and trauma from modern psychology and illustrated the ways in which O’Neill’s plays fit surprisingly closely to modern research in how people deal with and cope with traumatic experiences. It was kinda shitty although I loved the idea at the beginning. My conclusion was basically just “yeah so this dude really understood the inner workings of humanity and the way we deal with trauma, look how realistically he portrayed it through his characters! He probably learned from experience lol isn’t he a cool guy?”

During my bachelor's I wrote one about Hegel and PKD. It looked at their respective interpretations of Ancient Rome and being/becoming with a view toward transubstantiation and God eating the universe. It was years ago so I don't remember all the details.

What do your male classmates research then, coward?

There was a guy in my unis english course who thought he was gonna write the next LoTR. He thought he was better than everyone else but actually none of his idess were particularly original.

Pasta or not this reminds me of the most recent open mic poetry evening I went to. We started with the regulars that have been going for years, all of which were decent. Then one of the speakers was a they/them but her poem was one of the better ones so I'll give him a pass this time. After this we were forced to listen to a series of white university girls with their 'deep' 'profound' poems about race and racism. This was all in response to George Floyd ofc, even though we don't live in the USA.

There is plenty that can be done that is actually substantial to the humanities but all the high IQ people want to continue industrialization and fuel the instruments for the corporate powers with their STEM degrees. Materialists are the cancer of the Earth.

Women only understand reality if they reference it to themselves.

>> No.16046563

>>16046455
That's literally the method of understanding reality. The only difference is whether your reference avatar is a 1:1 replica of yourself or as tabula rasa as possible. Low IQ/mentally ill can only manage a 1:1 projection. Higher IQ can envision a blank slate and paint in the set and setting that adds up to the expected behavioral response. Set and setting fidelity relies on pattern recognition which is why it is tied to IQ.
