I just started reading it. So far it is really bad, but it's a sort of entertaining bad

This guy stopped me from reading normie books. After reading the Cryptonomicon, the most mediocre, long, and painfully stupid book I have ever known, I started reading classics. Now I can't go back to normal.

Neuromancer + early 90s humor. The main character delivers pizzas for the mob for a living and the other is a young smart aleck girl that rides a skateboard everywhere. Couldn’t be written today but it’s a fun ride

I've read a Cryptonomicon, Anathem, the system of the world trilogy and Zodiac. I figured his most famous book would be his best, I managed to read 10 pages before I figuratively threw it in the trash and deleted the ebook. It's strongly reminiscent of that Ready Player One excerpt. Maybe all his other books are trash too and I just didn't realise it at the time.
