imagine being marx and realising that all societies are built on hierarchies of control but deciding the way to fix it is to wield the state (itself an abstract modus of hierarchy) as a means of ground up transformation

imagine believing revolution using the apparatus of oppression to dismantle oppression itself is anything other than doomed hypocrisy, that can only lead to authoritarian disasters unable to transition any further than state capitalism like the soviet union
