Percy was the same shit as HP with the whole "oh I'm definitely <insert Greek god>'s child since I'm so quirky!!"
I never finished HP but the original ending of PJ wasn't too terrible before Riodan starting doing all those spinoffs and sequels.
That being said, he does a shit job at making the premise work, I remember so little about the lore in those books that reading Hamilton's Mythology was mostly a fresh look at the Pantheon.

The man is a D, maybe a C, grade author. All of his books are fucking garbage. The only passable shit is the first Percy Jackson series and even that only works because of the nostalgia I have for it. The sequel series sucked (even though I only read the first book and did it in a day) and from what I hear the sequel to that sucks as well. The other two series woth myths are apparently just side shows that half of the people who like him know nothing about.


Also there are trannies, fags, useless asexuals and all matter of dumb gay romance triangles throughout his series his books I'm told. Its just infantile writing for infantile people, if you still read this shit you need some deep introspection.
