What is philosophy?
Do we even need it?
Where did it go wrong?
What happened to it?
Where did it lose it's way?

The un-contemplated life is not worth living. And one must have a love of wisdom, to be a philosopher, for that is the meaning of philosophy.

all that contemplating fails not only because the difficulty of the subject but also because of the problem of putting it into action because reality if much more complex and chaotic then the thoughts but I do not deny that the contemplations helps in improving on whatever the fuck live is

Do you not care for the why in life? We need better structures to interpret the now, and we can see and evident upgrade from Hegel to Heidegger.

There is a distinction between technical academic 'professional' philosophy and one's personal philosophy of life.
You dont need to be an academic philosopher in order to develop a philosophy of life and philosophize upon the meaningful questions and mysteries of life that interests you directly.

What do we need professional technical philosophers for then?
Is philosophy dead? Has there been a milestone in the past 50 years? Is there any new knowledge to be learned? Is it all just mumbo jumbo spinning on itself? Why do we even need philosophy? Is there science without philosophy?

Unless you're a postmodernist, no one. But even then postmodernists only exist by Heidegger, but on their thought being heavily affected by modern marxism, and an anti-traditionalism. Wherein Heidegger is of course an absolute conservative and traditionalist in his mentality. It's in the same way the German Idealists only existed by Kant, but the question of being is no easy one, and the postmodernists unthankfully exist by Heidegger, to Nietzsche too.

>There are at least two senses in which the term philosophy is used: a formal and an informal sense. In the formal sense, philosophy is an academic study of the fields of aesthetics, ethics, epistemology, logic, metaphysics, as well as social and political philosophy. One's "philosophy of life" is philosophy in the informal sense, as a personal philosophy, whose focus is resolving the existential questions about the human condition.[1]

Academic philosophy has its place, though its many byways, systems and schools of thought and seemingly autistic-like expressions can render it distant and meaningless to the average person in terms of developing a personal philosophy.

>Philosophy lost its path because it was never on the right path because because the right path is whatever they say without arguing
So if everyone says everything is made out of shit even if they believe it or no then philosophy found its way and is right?
