His critiques of the modern world are good especially from an Islamic perspective but his remedy of Islamism was always stupid to me, Islamism really just doesn't work and more Muslims today are abandoning the idea. Read "The Impossible State" by Wael Hallaq

That's just shilling. Qutb isn't advocating an Islamic modern state as the brotherhood does, but rather a state in the pre-modern basis, like the Taliban's Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan or ISIS at their peak
