Why do you read the works of the past to try to fix the problems of today? Don't you think they're outdated? Yes, they might reflect the human condition, and that's certainly valuable, but as far as tackling modern problems, especially in politics, why dwell on outdated systems by outdated authors?

Why don't you first define outdated, then devise a method of proving that an idea, an argument, or a system of thought is outdated, and then prove that every single one of these authors you're referring to meets those criteria? Once you've done that, we'll be able to have a conversation.
